Patients with comlete loss of all teeth (completely edentulous) or with several missing teeth who can not go with fixed teeth replacement otions will usually be given removable complete or partial dentures.
The stability of these dentures depend on the shape and size of jaw bones. In order to achieve stable functional dentures many times the jaw bone needs to be surgically corrected
